Organic garden maintenance includes mulching, pruning, planting, sowing, weeding and tidying. No chemicals are used. Methods will enhance your soil fertility and bring out the beauty of your garden. Mary has worked as a professional gardener in a wide variety of settings including private gardens and community gardens. She has also designed and run courses to pass on the skills of growing your own food.
Mary has designed a flexible programme responsive to your needs.You can employ Mary to work in your garden with you so that you can learn organic gardening skills or simply for organic maintenance. If your community group wishes to grow organic food enquire mary@aplaceoflearning .co.nz to discuss your needs. Mary can demonstrate and set up organic gardening at your centre. This programme offers practical on the ground help. One hour sessions can be arranged according to your programme.

This programme is designed to support you to grow your own food in your own garden. It is such a joy to come home from work and wander in your own vegetable garden. This programme offers practical on the ground help.
